Scan a code.
Read it before you trust it.

Decoding happens on your device. We show you exactly what a code contains — links are never opened, Wi-Fi is never joined, contacts are never imported and payments are never started for you.

Decoded codes appear here. Nothing is opened, joined or paid automatically.

What the statuses mean

Decoded successfully means the symbol was readable in this particular image or frame — it is not a promise that every scanner, in every light, will read your printed copy. No code found means nothing decodable was detected; usually the photo is blurred, angled, cropped through the quiet zone, or the code is too small in frame. Check not run means we could not attempt the check at all, for example when camera access was declined.

Why links do not open by themselves

A QR code is just text, and a printed code can be replaced with a sticker. Showing you the full address first — with any Wi-Fi password masked until you choose to reveal it — is the single most useful safety measure a scanner can offer. Destination safety checks are a separate feature and are not enabled on this site yet, so we say the destination has not been checked rather than implying it is safe.
