What should the code do?
Open a map pin.
How to make this code
- 1
Find the coordinates in any map app — long-press the exact spot and copy the numbers.
- 2
Enter latitude between -90 and 90 and longitude between -180 and 180. Negative values are valid.
- 3
Scan the result and check the pin lands where you intended, not just in the right street.
Frequently asked questions
Why use coordinates instead of a map link?
Coordinates never expire and do not depend on one map provider. A shared map link can change form or stop resolving.
How precise should the coordinates be?
Five decimal places is about a metre — far more than enough. Fewer than four places can put the pin on the wrong side of a building.
Which download format is best for printing?
SVG is a true vector file: a printer or designer can scale it to any size without losing edge quality, so it is the best thing to hand to a print shop. The PDF here places a high-resolution image of the same artwork on the paper size you choose, which suits home and office printing at that size. PNG is for screens and for systems that only accept images. Whichever you pick, print one copy at the final size and scan that copy yourself before ordering a batch — no format can guarantee a scan on a given printer, material or light.
