How to make a QR code in three steps
- 1
Choose the type
Pick what the code should do — open a link, join Wi-Fi, save a contact, start a WhatsApp chat or a UPI payment.
- 2
Enter your details
Fill the fields. Anything invalid is explained in plain language and your last working preview stays on screen.
- 3
Download and test
Take SVG for print, PNG for screens or a ready-to-print PDF card. Always scan the final artwork before you print a batch.
What these codes can and cannot do
Every code on this page is static. The data is encoded in the pattern itself, so a printed code keeps working without our servers and without an account — but changing the destination means printing a new code.
A Wi-Fi QR code contains the network name and password in readable form. Anyone who photographs the code can extract the password, so treat it like a written-down password: fine on a café wall you control, not for a private home network you share publicly. A UPI QR code carries the payment details you type — it is not proof that a merchant is verified or that a payment succeeded.
